Advantages of LSAW steel pipe JCOE forming

Straight seam steel pipes can be categorized into high-frequency straight seam resistance welded pipes (ERW pipes) and submerged arc welded straight seam steel pipes (LSAW steel pipes) based on the production process. Submerged arc welded straight seam steel pipes are further classified into UOE, RBE, JCOE, etc., according to their forming methods.

Among these, JCOE steel pipe production is known for its simplicity, high production efficiency, low cost, and rapid development. The inner and outer surfaces of the steel pipe must be smooth, free from folding, cracks, delamination, lap welding, arc breakage, burn-through, and other local defects exceeding the lower wall thickness deviation. Minor local defects within the lower wall thickness deviation are permissible.
