Ensuring the proper bundling of seamless steel pipes is crucial for maintaining their quality during transportation and handling. The following outlines the specific requirements and forms for bundling seamless steel pipes to ensure they meet industry standards and user needs.

Bundling Requirements of Seamless Steel Pipe:

a. During bundling and transportation, the steel pipes should be handled carefully to avoid damage. Bundling signs should be uniform.

b. Each bundle should consist of steel pipes with the same steel number (batch number), steel grade, and specifications. Mixing different batches (batch numbers) in one bundle is not allowed. If the number of pipes is insufficient for a full bundle, they should be bundled into smaller bundles.

c. The weight of each bundle should not exceed 50 kg. With user consent, the weight can be increased, but the maximum should not exceed 80 kg.

d. For flat-end steel pipe bundles, one end should be aligned. The aligned pipe ends should have a length discrepancy of less than 20 mm, and the length difference of each bundle should be less than 10 mm. For pipes ordered according to normal length, the length difference should be less than 5 mm, and the longest and second longest pipes in a bundle should differ by no more than 10 mm.

Bundling Forms of Seamless Steel Pipe:

For steel pipes with lengths of 6 m or more, each bundle should be secured with at least 8 straps, divided into 3 groups labeled as 3-2-3.

For steel pipes shorter than 6 m, each bundle should have at least 5 straps, divided into 3 groups labeled as 2-1-2.

For steel pipes of 3 m or more, each bundle should have at least 3 straps, divided into 3 groups labeled as 1-1-1.
