Packaging method of anti-corrosion spiral steel pipe

Bulk Weighing Method:

The anti-corrosion spiral steel pipe is packaged using the bulk weighing method. The size of the baler should preferably range between 159mm to 500mm. Steel belts are used as the raw material for the baler, and each belt should be twisted into multiple strands. The number of strands should be appropriately increased based on the outer diameter and weight of the spiral steel pipe to prevent loosening.

Protection Against Loosening and Damage:

The packaging must ensure that the anti-corrosion spiral steel pipe remains secure and undamaged during normal handling, transportation, and storage.

Buyer’s Specifications:

If the buyer has specific requirements regarding the movement and packaging methods of the spiral steel pipe, these should be specified in the agreement. If not specified, the packaging methods and movement are left to the supplier's discretion.

Compliance with Regulations:

Packaging products should comply with relevant regulations. If there are no specific requirements, the packaging should adhere to the applicable scope of the order to avoid waste and environmental pollution.

Surface Protection:

To prevent surface damage such as bumps, protective devices may be used. These can include rubber, straw ropes, fiber cloth, plastic, pipe caps, etc.

Thread Protection:

If there are wire ports on both sides of the anti-corrosion spiral steel pipe, British thread protection equipment should be used for safety precautions. Lubricating grease or anti-rust agents should be applied to the thread openings. Safety guards can be added on both sides of the spiral steel pipe as required.

Containerization:

When the anti-corrosion spiral steel pipe is placed in a container, soft waterproof materials such as textile cloth and straw mats should be used to suspend and protect the pipes. These can be fixed to the baler or the outside of the spiral steel pipe using arc welding, electric welding, or other securing methods.

Thick-Walled Pipe Precautions:

For thick-walled anti-corrosion spiral steel pipes, precautionary measures should be taken using either internal pipe supports or external structures. The material of the fixed bracket and the outer frame should be the same steel material as the spiral pipe.
