- Material Selection:

The process begins with carefully selecting high-quality steel, typically low carbon steel, which is known for its strength and malleability.

- Pipe Formation:

The selected steel undergoes a series of processes, including cutting, bending, and shaping, to form pipes of desired dimensions. This step ensures that the pipes meet specific industry requirements and project specifications.

- Surface Preparation:

To prepare the pipe surface for galvanization, it goes through a rigorous cleaning process to remove any impurities, such as dirt, grease, and oxides. This ensures optimal adhesion of the zinc coating.

- Galvanization:

After the surface of the steel pipe is pretreated, it can be galvanized. There are two methods of galvanizing: hot-dip galvanizing and electro-galvanizing. Hot-dip galvanizing is to immerse the steel pipe in molten zinc, so that the zinc reacts with the surface of the steel pipe to form a layer of zinc. Electrogalvanizing is to immerse the steel pipe in an electrolyte solution containing zinc ions, and through the action of electric current, the zinc ions are reduced to a zinc layer on the surface of the steel pipe.

- Cooling and Inspection:

After galvanization, the pipes are carefully cooled and inspected for uniformity, adhesion, and thickness of the zinc coating. This step ensures the quality and durability of the finished product.

- Packaging:

Packaging galvanized steel pipe. It is usually packed in plastic bags or cartons to protect the zinc layer on the surface of the steel pipe from being damaged.
