The installation and use of spiral steel pipes have strict technical requirements that must be adhered to according to actual conditions and established operating procedures to ensure safety and quality. When using spiral steel pipes, attention must be paid to the following points.

Construction Preparation Before Use

Before installing spiral steel pipes, proper preparation is essential. This includes digging pipe trenches, laying tube wells, and assembling all necessary spiral steel pipes and tools, such as welders, cutting machines, electric hammers, and polishing machines. Installation should only commence once these preparations are completed.

Following the design drawings, pipe supports are prefabricated based on the on-site conditions. Holes are then drilled according to the design and site requirements. The bevels are polished using a polishing machine before welding begins.

Quality Requirements for Using Spiral Steel Pipes

- Vertical Installation: The deviation per meter for vertically installed risers should be less than 3 mm.

- Horizontal Installation: The deviation for horizontal installations should be less than 1 mm.

- Welding Guidelines:

Welding should not occur at the welds of branch pipes, and welding at elbows should be avoided.

Welds must be straight and the weld bead complete, with no burn-through or surface cracks.

Ensuring adherence to these guidelines helps maintain the safety and quality of spiral steel pipes during installation and use.
