Square and rectangular pipe, is a term for square and rectangular pipes, that is, steel pipes with equal and unequal side lengths. It is a strip of steel rolled after a process. Generally, the strip steel is unwrapped, flattened, crimped and welded to form a round tube, which is then rolled into a square tube and then cut to the required length.

Also known as square and rectangular cold-formed hollow section steel, referred to as square and rectangular tube, code F and J, respectively

1, the allowable deviation of the wall thickness of the square tube, when the wall thickness is not greater than 10mm shall not exceed the nominal wall thickness of plus or minus 10%, when the wall thickness is greater than 10mm for the wall thickness of plus or minus 8%, except for the wall thickness of the corner and weld region.

2, the usual delivery length of square tube 4000mm-12000mm, 6000mm and 12000mm mostly. Square tube is allowed to deliver not less than 2000mm of short and non-size products, can also be delivered in the form of interface pipe, but the demand side in the use of the interface pipe should be removed. The weight of short and non-size products is not more than 5% of the total delivery quantity, and for the theoretical weight of more than 20kg/m, the weight of the square tube should be not more than 10% of the total delivery quantity.

3, the bending degree of the square tube shall not be more than 2mm per meter, and the total bending degree shall not be more than 0.2% of the total length.
