Hardness Requirements for ASTM A192 Boiler Tubes
For tubes with a wall thickness of 0.200 inch (5.1 mm) or more, the maximum Brinell Hardness Number (BHN) is 137. For tubes with wall thicknesses less than 0.200 inch (5.1 mm), the maximum Rockwell Hardness is 77 HRB.
