API 5L Grade B carbon steel pipe covers both seamless and welded pipe types, usually available in two different product specifications: PSL 1 and PSL 2, mainly used for oil, petrochemical and natural gas transmission.
API 5L Grade B Carbon Steel Seamless Pipe has high crack resistance to prevent cracks that may occur in long pipes. Furthermore, due to its long lifespan, it is proven to be cost-effective and inexpensive. Compared with seamless pipes, API 5L Grade B carbon steel welded pipes have higher absolute roughness.
