Seamless steel pipes are made of capillary pipes by piercing steel ingots or solid tube blanks. There are many ways to produce seamless steel pipes. According to delivery requirements, seamless steel pipes can be produced by hot rolling (about 80-90%) or cold drawing (about 10-20%).

At present, Union Steel Industry Co.,Ltd owns 3 sets of hot rolled seamless steel pipe production line and 2 sets of hot expanded seamless steel pipe production line. This article will introduce the production equipment of seamless steel pipe in detail.

Seamless Steel Pipe Production Equipment:

- Piercing Mill

It has the characteristics of fast rolling speed, uniform tube thickness, adjustable feeding angle, toe-in angle, roll saving, PLC control system, etc., ultra-precision, high degree of automation, and ranks among the best in China.

- Slight Stretch Reducing Mill

The three rollers are powered separately, flexible to adjust, and have the characteristics of high precision outer diameter and excellent surface finish.

- Rotating Heat Furnace

Single feed or double feed is optional, LEG is the fuel, furnace temperature, furnace pressure, furnace flow are automatic, and the control performance is first-class in China.

- Cooling Bed

Ladder-type cooling bed, motor-driven lifting, hydraulic control translation, cooling zone 27*28m, double feeding.

- Hot Rolling Mill

Tapered rollers, large discs, flexible adjustment, hydraulic control locking system and balance system, convenient and reliable operation, the maximum diameter of the perforated billet is 300mm, and the maximum length is 14m.

- Pipe Cutter

It has the characteristics of high speed and fine machining.
