J55 pipe is used to transport raw materials or products from one end to the other and has similar properties to K55 grade. API 5CT J55 casing is widely used in shallow wells, geothermal wells and water wells of natural gas and coalbed methane because of its relatively low price. In addition, J55 pipe is also well suited for low pressure environments, and in applications involving carbon dioxide or acidic environments.
